BUFF is a neo-western set in the high desert of New Mexico. The film follows Joss, a climate activist newly released from jail, who crosses paths with an abused rodeo buffalo. When she risks everything to set the animal free, their journeys intertwine... two beings scarred by captivity, searching for release in the vast desert.

Stay tuned for the BUFF short film, coming soon with exciting film updates!
BUFF short film was filmed in partnership with the Pueblo de Cochiti, with the blessing of tribal leadership to film on sacred land. After meaningful consultation with the council, we discovered that our film’s environmental message aligns with their community values and land restoration mission.
Releasing “Clyde the Buffalo” against the Cochiti sunset, where buffalo once roamed freely, felt like a spiritual homecoming. We were also proud to cast a community member in an on-screen role.
As we move toward the feature, we are committed to providing film updates and deepening this partnership while supporting the Pueblo de Cochiti’s land restoration initiatives. Coming soon, we look forward to sharing more about our journey together.
